What is the best way to prepare for a swimming competition where I have got 24 hours to swim 10 miles?
Well I am 18 and got a quite good condition (riding Mtb semi professionally), can I´m into gymnastics and was doing triathlon like 2 years ago. Btw the competition is in roughly 5 weeks

- ohhh buddy, I would say go to the local pool, make sure its at least a competition pool, 25 yards long, or even better an Olympic, 50 meters. Once there, swim a 300 yard warm up on no time limit, but kind of quickly. After that, you should do 100's on the 1:30-1:45 do around 10-20 of them. That should bring your endurance up a lot. Then you should go ahead and do a cool down run, probably around 1000 yard on no time limit. That alone is around 1.5 - 2 miles.
