What is the best swimming goggles to get that do a good job keeping water out?

I wear contact lens and I want to start swimming again so I would like to purchase some dependable goggles. Also, how much would they cost?

1. Speedo, Lane 4, FINIS, View, Swedish Goggles, Eyeline Goggles and Zoggs, make sure the goggles are nice and firm against your scalp
2. I wear speedo....and I never have a problem! Just make sure you are putting your goggles on currectly....make sure that the suction is tight...and you really shouldn't have a problem with any goggles....unless they are really cheap ones. My goggles cost only like $10

4. sweeds! I bought some like a month ago, they are freakin AWESOME! they dont have the padding but they fit soo much better and feel soo much better than regular ones plus they are only 4.50 per pair! that so cheap compared to regular goggles! here is how to put them together so you dont get lost if you buy them.: put one end of the string through the hole of one eyepiece, then put the blue thing on the string, then feed the string through the hole on the other eyepiece (so on the string it's eyepiece-blue thing-eyepiece). Then tie off, put the goggles on your eyes, and adjust as necessary.
5. I really like the speedos vanquishers, they can get pricy i guess compared to some goggles, they are like 15-20 dollars but they work and last long, they dont smush your eyes, they don't leak, and they come in MANY colors and sizes including mirrored prescription, pro, womens, children, mens and MANY others they are the only thing i use and have used them since i was like 7 and they last a long time, they also come with interchangeable nosepieces for other fitting preferences, if you need to know what size and style you need you just have to try aroung to find what syle fits your face here's speedo link for them http://www.speedousa.com/search/index.jsp?view=all&kwCatId=&kw=vanquisher&origkw=vanquisher&sr=1
6. this depends on what your comfortable with. my personal favorites are speedo vanquisher plus goggles (about $15). some people like swedish goggles, which are much cheaper (like $3 a pair). theres also semi-swedish goggles, which have some rubber padding and are really comfortable. dont know how much those are though...
7. i wear speedo goggles and i have no problem with them mine cost about $20-25... it ain't that much!
